Juanita Dozier holds New Jersey teaching certifications in Preschool, Elementary Education, Special Education, and English as a Second Language. She has taught scholars of all ages in Philadelphia and in New Jersey for over 10 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and has completed 1 year of Doctoral Studies in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Behavioral Health. She is currently a Special Education teacher and also serves as the Special Education Department Chair at her school. She knew very early that she would become an educator to the kids of her community. As a young girl growing up in South NJ, she decorated her bedroom like a classroom including a chalkboard and made it official by taping an alphabet around the ceiling border. Juanita accepted the Lord into her life at the age of six and often would take over her Sunday school lessons in efforts to act like a teacher every chance she got.
In 2014, she married her high school sweetheart Vincent Dozier III where they both are parents to Vincent Dozier IV. and Caleb Dozier. Their family follows the teachings of Bishop David G. Evans and are members of Bethany Baptist Church.
“I’ve taught so many age ranges in cities where an exceptional learning experience for children and their families come few and far between. This includes public, private, and charter schools. I was able to see the pros and cons of various models for education. As a mother and educator, I get to walk the line of encouraging exploration and increasing curiosity in children. I work diligently to identify individual learning pathways for students and tailor curriculums to serve the needs and talents of our kids. I aspire to model what it means to provide a world-class education to kids.”
